The rewards of a successful season are the relationships built, the magnificent locations discovered, the sunrises shared setting up for the day’s first shot. When we reflect on the global campaigns we’ve produced, it’s the memories and the journeys we’ve shared together working side-by-side and getting to know each other as friends that brings us joy and keeps us inspired. Meeting new people, traveling to spectacular destinations, finding that symbiotic balance as a team to work as one and bring a campaign to life; this is what we measure as success.

Redtag SS20 | Make Waves Campaign
What adventures we’ve had with our Middle East-Asia client Red Tag! With the Mother City of Cape Town as our playground, we’ve explored and accomplished the extraordinary to realise the brief. We’ve climbed mountains, camped beside lakes, built bonfires in the woods and took in the view from the top of skyscrapers. We ended the season weathering the storm to finally set sail & “Make Waves” for the latest SS20 campaign.
Beldona Summer 2020
For Swiss lingerie brand Beldona we embarked on a voyage up the West Coast to an exotic location with an all-female creative team led by photographer Alexa Singer. We bunked together on house boats and changed location via speed boat, learnt to balance on SUPs and shared many laughs and playlists. Alexa perfectly captured the essence of the campaign – sensual, feminine, confident and real women, which mirrored the personality and experience of this empowering production.
Working with German brand Aldi Sud is like working with family. We would like to say thank you for all the opportunities and for supporting our local charities in Cape Town, by donating garments and props from the season's shoots. We are proud to have clients like these!
With our long-standing relationship with McCann Germany, the synergy, support and warmth between the local and international teams has developed over the years making every production both a pleasure and a success, while creating global campaigns for various fashion brands. It’s these kinds of relationships that make us strive to go the extra mile. In the countdown before lockdown the Lustre team were ready with protective gear to roll out as much as possible before the final wrap.
